Your story, on the channel that is all Thailand.
Make a film about your brand, your craft or your place, and show it on Thainess, the English-language channel where every hour is about Thailand. It suits food and drink makers, craft makers, hotels, destinations and organisations with a Thailand story to tell.
Send us a few lines. A member of the team replies with a question or two, then a first media plan.
A channel about one country
Every hour on Thainess is about Thailand: food, nature, heritage, travel and the way Thais live today. A calm, curious setting with no news, sport or politics.

Ways to tell your story
Three ways are open today. One more is in planning.
Open today
A documentary made for you
Our documentary team makes a film about your brand or organisation, your craft, your place or your cause, and it is shown on Thainess.
Sponsor a series
Your name sits beside a series or a block of programmes on Thainess, in a setting that already tells Thailand's story.
Short clips for your own channels
Your film or series comes with short clips cut for you, ready to use on your own website, social pages and screens.
In planning
Ad spots are in planning, including on Samsung TV Plus, a free, ad-supported service scheduled for 2027. We will share dates and formats once they are set. To hear first, say so when you request your media plan.
The story you care about, told as a documentary
Many brands and organisations look after something in Thailand: a coast, a craft, a community, a classroom. Our documentary team can tell that story as a film on Thainess, with real people in real places.
Story ideas. These are ideas for films, not films we have already made.
- Idea
Nature and conservation
The people who watch over a forest, a reef or a river, telling it in their own words.

An old skill, and the apprentice who will carry it on.
- Idea
Community
How a village market or a family business keeps going.
- Idea
Learning
A school day seen through the eyes of teachers and children.
- Idea
Health and well-being
Traditional food and care, as families practise them today.
- Idea
Travel with care
A place that welcomes visitors and looks after what makes it special.
What we tell, and how
- Our team writes, films and edits. Every film is made by Next Step's documentary team, and we check the facts before it airs.
- You do not edit the script. You can check the facts about your own organisation before the film goes out.
- We show what the camera sees and what people say. The stories are true and come from real places, and we do not claim results that viewers cannot see for themselves.
What you receive
- Your name on screen. You are credited as a supporter in every film, so viewers always know who stands behind it.
- Short clips. Cut for you, ready for your own website, social pages and screens.
- A film shown on more than one screen. It goes out on Thainess and on the routes named in your media plan.
How a documentary sponsorship works
Five steps, from the first conversation to a film on screen and clips in your hands.
- Tell us your story. Who you are, what you would like to say, and when you would like to begin. A member of the team replies with a question or two.
- Receive a media plan. We propose the film, the format and the screens that suit your story.
- We make the film. Our documentary team writes, films and edits, and checks the facts. You can check the facts about your own organisation before it airs.
- It goes on air. Your film is shown on Thainess and on the routes your media plan names, with your name on screen as a supporter.
- Use your clips. Short clips are cut for you, ready for your own website, social pages and screens.
Sponsor FAQ
Can a sponsor change the script?
No. Our team writes, films and edits every film, so viewers can trust what they see. You can check the facts about your own organisation before the film goes out.
Who holds the rights?
The rights to each film are set out in your agreement with Next Step Company Limited. The short clips are cut for you to use on your own website, social pages and screens.
Where will the film be shown?
On Thainess and on the routes named in your media plan. Where Thainess is on air today is shown in the diagram below.
What kind of story can we tell?
Something you look after in Thailand: a coast, a craft, a community, a classroom, traditional food and care, or a place that welcomes visitors with care. We show what the camera sees and what people say, in real places.
What do we need to bring?
A story you care about, and a way for our team to meet the people and film in the places it covers. Send us the facts about your organisation so we can check them. We handle the writing, filming and editing. We ask the people who appear in a film for their permission, and a parent or guardian when a child appears.
How do we start?
